Hi, I’m Joy! I was raised in Hobart with my brother and two sisters. I am a graduate of Hobart High School, Florida Gulf Coast University, and Ivy Tech Community College. I have a Bachelors in Legal Studies, and Associates in nursing, and an RN license.

My introduction into the Montessori world started last year after enrolling my daughter at VMS. I noticed almost immediately all of the positive changes in her, such as her growth in independence, social skills, and development, that I also enrolled my son. As a mother, and a nurse, I have always been driven by the need to help people and I cannot think of a better way than to help shape the next generation. When I’m not at work, you can find with my kids, shopping, reading or continuing my education. I’m a huge Harry Potter nerd, animal lover, and coffee is my favorite food.
