I have lived in Northwest Indiana my whole life. I have a daughter that I'm excited to guide and implement the Montessori method at home with and hope to start her Montessori education soon. I have had a love for the Montessori method for about 8 years now but have learned so much more in the last 6 months. I truly believe that your experiences and the things you learn as a young child impact your entire life. It takes a village to raise each child, and I believe that in a school setting, open communication with children, parents, and directress' helps each child grow and develop in their best way possible for success. Gaining respect and trust from each child truly is a gift I cherish. I enjoy working with kids and watching them develop their independence and individuality through learning while working with each other in their classroom community. Each child has an inner need, and as an assistant, I am here to listen and help their Directress guide them on the learning path they choose. Outside of work, I enjoy being outdoors, reading, baking, gardening, and so much more. I have a fur baby named Anubis, who is a 12 pound pekingese-poodle. I love pumpkin spice season, I mean autumn, and early winter the most. I look forward to learning from, growing with, and assisting your children on this exciting journey.
